I first met this beautiful family for their maternity session. They were full of so much joy and anticipation as they patiently waited to add another gorgeous girl to their family. Fast forward a couple of months and I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet little nugget – Amaya!
As her mama and I discussed how she’d like her new beauty photographed, we decided on plenty of pure white and a bit of purple, grey, and green. I couldn’t be happier with how she looks on this lovely shade of lilac!! I really compliments the gorgeous golden tones in her skin! And check out those lashes…I’m pretty sure these are the longest I’ve seen on any baby 🙂 I definitely had lash envy LOL.
Miss Amaya was full of sweet newborn smiles and silly faces! These next images are not what you’d typically see for newborn portraits, but when we’re able to capture images like this they’re almost always some of moms favorites. This sweet girl slept like a rock through her entire session is this is what she looked like as she started waking up toward the end. SO cute!!!
Capturing plenty of family portraits was really important to them. So I created this cozy bed set that was comfortable to pose with a 2 year old in tow. This made for some gorgeous intimate family moments that captured all the love they have for each other.
Big sister Layla was so sweet with the baby! You can definitely tell she’s going to be a great big sister!!
What a sweet and tender moment to always have to remember when your two girls first became best friends. As a mother this is something we wish we could bottle up and keep unchanged forever. Having a sister is such a special bond that will last their entire lifetime. This will likely become and image the girls treasure as well as they grow up.
I designed this gorgeous 20×20 storyboard that showcases all of the tiny little details as well some of their favorite family images. What a beautiful daily reminder to have hanging on the wall of your home to remember just how tiny she was!
