Because studio calendars fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons. Booking early ensures you have your pick of available dates and gives you time to plan every beautiful detail without feeling rushed.
When Should You Take Your Maternity Photos?
The ideal time to photograph your maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks. Here’s why this timeframe works so well:
Your baby bump is beautifully round and photogenic (yes, even if you don’t feel it yet!)
You’re typically still feeling comfortable and mobile—before the aches, swelling, and general third-trimester exhaustion set in
Most mamas are still sleeping better, which makes a world of difference when it comes to feeling energized and confident for your session
