Brooke and Johnathan may look like a very young couple, but they’ve been together for 9 years before expecting their first baby girl. They clearly have a very strong connection and are just as much in love with their baby as they are with each other!
We had such a good time working together during their session and it was such a joy for me to capture this natural beauty during her journey into motherhood. When Brooke and I chatted about how she’s like to be photographed she mentioned wanting a light romantic feel to her images. This first set is just perfect for her! It’s relaxed and airy, the bodysuit hugs her baby bump just perfectly and the floral crown I made for her added the perfect romantic element to create a truly special portrait for her.
She also mentioned to me that her favorite color is blue. I knew I just had to put her in this beautiful blue gown from our studio wardrobe collection. It is the fluffiest gown I’ve ever seen and I looks so amazing on her. I also posed her on top of the skirt which ended up being a favorite of both her and I from her session.
Another blue gown from the studio wardrobe fit her like a glove. She looks so graceful in this portrait and so ready to welcome her baby girl into the world.
This dramatic lighting really highlights the beautiful curves of pregnancy and is also a very intimate couples shot. I create images like this for just about all of my maternity clients. It’s so flattering on every mama and each and every client loves them!
